  I found Cook County Buyers (CCB) via google search on "how to sell sterling silver" & noted the mention of best way to contact is by text. I received a prompt text reply from CCB with relevant & helpful info on process to sell sterling flatware. I contacted 2 other buyers whose quotes came in well below CCB's offer, which was just over 50% of spot rate. I accepted CCB offer & easily scheduled an in office appointment within a few days. CCB location is downtown Northbrook, easy to get to, ample street parking, and is a spotless, bright inviting office. Upon arrival, CCB informed me that the spot rate had increased from the original offer to my benefit. Wow. Of course it does work both ways if rate had gone down, which is fair to both parties. My flatware was weighed in front of me, final price determined & a check written on the spot in less than 30 minutes. CCB buyer was professional, efficient, and congenial. I can say the experience 100% positive. I shared his contact with several friends already. I would return to this buyer again. Thank you CCB.

  I had an absolutely excellent experience with Cook County Buyers | Gold & Diamonds. The entire process was smooth, professional, and very transparent. I went in to sell some Rolexes and honestly had no idea what I was really doing, but Mike made me feel completely comfortable from the start. He took the time to clearly explain how he determines the sale price, which made me feel confident and informed every step of the way. The payout process was super easy and straightforward, which made everything even better. Mike is a genuinely great guy who truly knows his jewelry. He even uses a really neat device to test gold right in front of you, so you can see exactly how everything is evaluated. That level of honesty and transparency really stood out to me. They’re also very digitally friendly — I was able to text them and fill out a really easy email form to get started. The whole process was quick and convenient. Most importantly, he truly does pay top dollar for jewelry. You can tell Mike is passionate about what he does and cares about treating people fairly. From now on, this is the only place I will sell my jewelry. That’s how awesome my experience was. Highly recommend!
