  A great collection of books for every taste and age, kids and adults; very reasonable prices; courteous and helpful staff. If they don't have the book in stock, they will order it for you. One of my favorite places in Chicago. :)

  Great selection of books, music, easy to sell to them, might not get much but better than throwing books away. Staff pleasant.

  Heard they give you $1 maybe for selling books but I get that you have to stay in business. Appreciated that they had comic books, vinyl records, and CDs too. Our kids will never know what it was like growing up in the ‘90s.

  Pretty friendly staffs, a good atmosphere, a decent selections of items, not the biggest manga/graphic novel selection but still good enough & the staffs can order books from different locations for you if the book you want is not in the store but is in other stores around the area! Also the pricing is pretty decent in my option but I was just looking in the manga area so I’m not sure for the other genres. Definitely will be coming back if I need more books. :)

  i went in looking for the Fourth Wing series. thankfully found 2/3 (fourth wing and onyx storm), but they only had one version of Fourth Wing which was $40, and i didn't want to spend that much on a copy. Mark at the checkout was super helpful and told me there was supposedly the second book somewhere and to go ask May at the selling counter. after looking for the books for me, she ended up saying we could order one to the store if i wanted (from another store). i went and sat down to read the bonus content of the $40 book (bc i didnt want to spend the money on it haha) and she found me in the back of the store WITH THE SECOND BOOK I WAS MISSING!!! l i t e r a l queen. THEN, she came back later with another book that she thought i would like and boy was she right XD. (Callie Hart Quicksilver) i ended up buying that one and then the second book (Callie Hart Brimstone) in the series as well (she gave me a coupon) :P May is my literal savior. May for literally every HPB ever, the nicest person and so helpful. Also loved Mark who was super helpful when i went through checkout like 3 times hahahah. best experience at a HPB ever :)
