I would not recommend selling books here. I dragged 2 shopping bags worth and drove 20 minutes to this store for a $2 offer. I would have rather donated the books then left them there. They are going to mark them up and sell for a profit. These were all well known authors. You can sell your books online for a much better price. This place is a joke.

The people are nice here, but its only worth it if you have rare books or box sets. We dropped off 4 boxes of books and it barely covered the cost of gas to drive there. Dont expect to walk out with much cash.

I was selling some books, videos, and DVDs. They were courteous and took care of me as quickly as they could. They were very busy and probably needed to look up some prices to see what they could offer me. The price was fair and they take everything off your hands. Win, win for decluttering the house.

I recommend just donating your books and DVDs to goodwill or maybe a senior living facility. Half price's offers are a joke. I just brought in over 100 dvds, some complete Simpson season box sets (unopened), Sopranos, etc. and they offered me $6. I wasn't expecting a windfall for an aging medium like DVDs but come on, at least 25 cents a title doesn't seem like a stretch.

This book store is overwhelming and unorganized. I didn't find much in the children's books section and the prices for used books are not competitive or half priced at all. I would just buy them new. One of the staff members here was also extremely rude when I was briefly scanning the clearance section as she was putting stuff on the shelf. Didn't feel welcome here and just a gloomy atmosphere.
