  The JC Penney store in Matteson IL is always clean and organized. They carry good selections of clothing, jewelry, make up, household items, hosiery, and intimate items! I like that it’s in my neighborhood as I enjoy shopping locally! I always have a good shopping experience at the JC Penney in Matteson IL, but most recently I had a 10 star experience! The Manager named Shantay went above and beyond to address my concerns about a purchase that I had made! Shantay is a role model of how to give exceptional customer service! Hats off to JC Penney in Matteson Il for its greatest assets good employeees like Shantay!👏🏾

  Went two hours before the store closed only for the salon to be closed. I was told the salon closes when they want to.

  Went to JCPenny with the hope that portraits were going to be taken. I’ve been coming here since my babies were months old; now they’re four. The photographer Jorome who lied and said his name was Michael was TERRIBLE. Wasn’t dressed as if he even wanted to be at work. Lacked enthusiasm. Had no personality when it came to filming toddlers. As we entered the studio he asked “so what you wanna do” I told him I’ve been coming here for 4 years and have never been asked that. Usually the photographer assists with the vision for the customer and brings it to light. So once I stated that then he decided to “assist” with taking the pictures. I honestly don’t even want to think he was a photographer …. like did you lie on the resume? I didn’t like any of the pictures taken and I am very dissatisfied with the outcome.
