  I struggled financially for a while after dropping off my film to be developed, and now that I am doing better I tried to call them to go pick up my film to find out they had thrown it away without even trying to contact me. I had some very sentimental photos on the roll. I wish I could've gotten a less unapologetic response from the business and maybe even a call when they decided to throw away my photos. Nobody ever told me there was a deadline.

  I came in genuinely looking for camera recommendations and hoping to support a small business by shopping in person rather than online. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Instead of being helpful, the woman assisting me came off as passive-aggressive and told me I should “do my research” before coming in. If I already knew exactly what I needed, I wouldn’t have come in asking for advice. I wanted to support local, but customer service like this makes it easy to take my money elsewhere. A missed sale and a missed opportunity.

  I called with some questions about filming a town hall for work, and they suggested I come in so we could really talk everything through. I’m so glad I did. They were truly focused on helping me solve my problem instead of trying to sell me something. Even after realizing they did not have the equipment I needed, they called other stores, checked availability, and shared personal contacts who might be able to help. This shop is so much more than a small camera store. It is a real resource and a reminder of what genuine customer service should feel like. Go here and support them. Mom and pop shops like this are a dying breed, and it would be a travesty to lose such a valuable place.
