  I came in to potentially buy another utility side by. I bought one here a few years ago and just wanted a newer model. Anyhow...as I was checking it out, a large group of employees started yelling at me from across the area to not mess with the vehicle. They yelled it "might tip over", which caused my children to freak out. Then I calmly stated that it is in park and the tailgate is locked in just like the one at home as to calm my family down. Then one of the crowd of employees says with a smirk "maybe" and walks away. I walked up to the group to ask questions at which point they all dispersed except for the 3 that were sitting. I asked if it is against policy to check out a vehicle before I buy it. I was told to have a good day. We are all pretty surprised that we were treated this way because it's the opposite of how we're always treated here. We love this place regardless. 11 April 2026 2:30pm

  I just recently bought two tackle boxes I love Bass pro shop especially the aquarium and I also love to window shop all the goodies that they have looking at the boats their clothing and the fishing area it's a very good clean store people there are very kind and there's always someone there to answer your questions they know exactly where everything is

  We went to Bass Pro Shops today to see the Easter Bunny, and the way I saw one of your staff members treating people was atrocious. The older woman taking the pictures around 5PM on 4/3 was a nightmare. She was rushing everyone through their pics, and was not polite in general, but the real problem was how she treated a mom who wanted a pic with her kids and the Easter Bunny. It appears there may have been some sort of disagreement before I got there - I don't know. But I do know your employee's actions were so wrong. She was condescending and nasty to the woman, kept yelling at her to wait her turn (there was not a long line so don't try to use that excuse), argued with her nonstop, interrupted her and wouldn't let her speak, and then proceeded to talk poorly about the woman in front of customers. My review really doesn't relay how horrible she was to the woman. Not to mention that treating customers like that in front of children and other customers should not be acceptable. Her customer service was non-existent to pretty much everyone.

  I didn't know the other Carnival type shooting range but more than half of the targets don't work when you shoot them or the little animated thing doesn't work either. Not bad for 50 cents anyways phone for one round or two. What are the gun guys with rambling on and on and on about a pistol to a guy who was just mildly curious. This isn't really a budget place to buy sports gear from though some things seem extremely expensive like a case for your fishing poles, $250? They really do have a great selection pretty much anything you can think of at all kinds of prices. I would recommend if you're going to spend thousands of dollars to avoid the Illinois tax and buy in Wisconsin instead

  Needed a new crossbow string. Took it in to Bass Pro to see if they could help me out. Checked in at the front entrance and they called the archery guy up front. Nicest guy you could ever meet. His name is Tom. Fantastic guy. Gave me the number I needed to call for Ten Point so I could order the correct string I needed. Ordered it when I got home. It came on Saturday morning. My wife and I went back down to the store and Tom took me right away and installed the string for me. Took him about 15 minutes total. He walked us up front so we could check out. Overall, very pleased with the entire experience. Thanks again Tom for your help.
