  Long time customer and big fan but today I have to give you an F for customer service. You had a great sale 10% off online, and 0% for 12 months on your card which prompted me to get approved for a card. Card approval online was great, super smooth even added the card into my club id which I thought was great. Until I go to checkout and find I need the CVV for the card you helped me apply for and added to my account. Well I don’t have the CVV, so I reach out to capital one to see what I can do to get it. They say it has to be off the card so I’ll have to wait, or I could use a virtual card except that is blocked in their app for the bass pro card. Next I reach out to Bass Pro customer service via a Chat with Joshua. He let me know there was a way around the CVV but if I went into a store they could print it out. Great except the store is 45 min away, but great sale and lots of money off because I’m looking at a Thermal scope. I go to the store to the Club desk only to be nicely informed that they can’t print a card that was applied for online. Confirmed your online customer support person was confused or lied you pick. The instore person let me know several other people ran into the same issue. They can only print a card if I apply in the store. They can give me an in store shopping pass for the account but that won’t work for the 10% off online sale. In the end I’ve spent over 2 hours of my time today with your support people and driving to get nowhere. Figured at least I’d get a hands on perspective of the scope except they don’t keep them charged so even that didn’t work out. You really need to work on your customer support scripts there should be no reason to communicate false information to your customers consider me a very frustrated customer.
