  I came by today around 3:30 PM straight from work...still in my orange shirt, work boots, and gear. I stood at the door waiting to be buzzed in while two employees looked right at me. When I finally hit the buzzer and was asked how I could be helped, I gave a simple answer: "I want to look around." Instead of being let in, I was asked the exact same question four more times. It wasn't a "service" question; it felt like an interrogation and a deliberate attempt to keep me outside. When a customer answers you the first time and you refuse to buzz them in, it stops being about business and starts looking like discrimination. I’m a local worker who was ready to spend money, but the "gatekeeping" vibe was loud and clear! I walked away because I shouldn't have to prove my worth just to walk through a door. If you aren't wearing a suit, don't expect to be treated like a customer here.

  Our family has always chosen Floras for as long as I can remember! My engagement diamond is now in a ring which I cherish! Several years ago I purchased a tennis bracelet from Flora’s estate jewelry. I wanted to give a part of that bracelet to each of my grandaughters upon graduating from college. Floras was able to design it exactly as I had hoped! Thanks John and Lisa as your employees continue to do excellent work!!

  Flora Gems is clearly the premiere place for fine jewelery and care and maintenance of your existing jewelry. We have used Flora many times over the years and have always been very satisfied with their service. I recently had my 36 year old wedding ring sized up to accommodate my enlarging knuckle. The ring was beautifully polished and restored to like-new condition. Now it is time for some maintenance on my wife's wedding ring. It lost one of the supporting prongs for the main stone. We look forward to seeing it fully restored as well!
