  Great experience at Razny in Chicago. The spring bar on my watch bracelet popped out and the clasp needed attention as well. The service team fixed everything and ran the bracelet through the ultrasonic cleaner. It looks fantastic now. They also kindly cleaned another watch bracelet I brought in, which I really appreciated. Even though the store was very busy, Isabella in the service department was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She made the whole process easy and pleasant. Julio also took the time to walk me through some of the new watches and clearly explain how their interest list works. Professional and welcoming experience all around. Hope to be back soon!

  Don't waste your time. I've been on the waitlist for 6 whole years at Raznys and still haven't received a watch I registered for. I first went into this boutique the summer of 2020 inquiring to buy a Datejust. I was told my name would be registered for interest on their waitlist. I waited and heard nothing for 2 whole years and when I visited them to checkup, it turns out the associate never even registered my name and info on the waitlist. So 2 whole years, wasted. So I registered my info again with a new associate, starting the wait all over again. It's now 4 years later and even after checking in-person and texting my associate frequently, I'm still given the run around about how they haven't "received" the Datejust after 6 entire years (which is clearly a lie). I could understand the wait for a rare model like the Daytona, but for a Datejust, this treatment is very dishonest. I have no idea why Rolex has an authorized dealer like this representing their brand, because it's a very bad look. I view both these brands negatively (Razny and Rolex) after this experience as they have no respect for customers. Go elsewhere and don't waste your time like I did.

  I had an outstanding experience at Razny and can confidently say it was the best interaction I’ve had with an authorized dealer. Working with Thomas was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I walked in, his approach was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely consultative. He took the time to educate me on Patek and Rolex, answer my questions thoughtfully, and walk me through different pieces without any pressure. What truly set this experience apart from other AD visits was that there was no attempt to push unrelated purchases or suggest I needed to buy non-Rolex or non-Patek items to build a relationship. The entire conversation felt transparent and respectful, which elevated the experience significantly. Thomas’s depth of knowledge and passion for the brands made the visit both enjoyable and informative. I left feeling valued as a client rather than treated like a transaction. I’m really looking forward to receiving the call, continuing to work with Thomas, and becoming a lifetime customer of Razny.

  I visited Razny Jewelers by appointment with the intent to purchase a Rolex. Having been actively collecting for the past year and a half, I came in with realistic expectations regarding availability and allocations. As expected, most models on display were exhibition-only, and I ultimately left waitlisted without making a purchase. The experience itself was professional from start to finish. I was greeted warmly, offered a drink (a well-made espresso over their wide selection of top-shelf bottles), and the appointment lasted roughly an hour. Toward the end, the visit felt a bit compressed, but it was clear this was due to a full appointment schedule rather than disinterest—something I understand given the demand Rolex ADs operate under. My sales associate, Kristy Wu, took a relationship-first approach. Her Rolex knowledge was more surface-level, but the focus of the conversation was on understanding me as a collector—my background, career transitions, and the personal milestones tied to the specific references on my short list (degrees earned, retirement, and a career pivot). While we didn’t go deep into reference-level or movement-level discussion, I recognize that depth often develops over time as rapport is established. One of the highlights of the visit was the store itself. Kristy provided a tour with excellent presentation, and seeing the watchmakers actively working in an open, visible space was a genuine standout. For anyone serious about horology, that level of transparency is appreciated and not something you see everywhere. Both Kristy and Kristen (the Rolex manager, as I understand, I wish now I grabbed her card) were candid and consistent about Rolex availability and allocation realities. They explained the allocation process which essentially means they are at the whim of Rolex. Something I already understood from my research but never actually had explained to me by anyone except here at Razny's. There was no upselling, no bundling, and no pressure to buy pieces outside my taste or collecting goals—something that carries real weight with experienced buyers. Post-visit communication was also handled professionally. I reached out to Kristy without realizing she was on vacation; despite that, she still took the time to respond and clarify the delay, which I found respectful and telling of her professionalism. Overall, Razny Jewelers presents itself as a serious Rolex AD with a clean reputation and one of the largest exhibition selections I’ve seen—more extensive than the Michigan Avenue Rolex boutique. Whether they can ultimately deliver the specific piece I’m looking to acquire to mark several meaningful milestones remains to be seen, but the foundation feels solid. Five stars—for professionalism, transparency, and approach—while recognizing that the true test will be fulfillment over time.
