    Very unpleasant and frustrating experience. This was my first time providing feedback regarding such unprofessional and unhelpful customer service. I placed an order for pickup at Nordstrom Rack, and the order status indicated that it should be “ready for pickup” within the stated timeframe. When I contacted Nordstrom customer service to ask for details about the order status and tracking number, the system showed that the order had already been delivered to the store the previous day. However, the order had not been scanned or updated to “ready for pickup.” When I called the store directly, customer service said they would check on the order but provided unprofessional support and kept me on hold for approximately 30 minutes. After locating the order, they did not explain why it was delayed. Also I have placed some other orders, while online still have in stock, not sure why it was cancelled the order from the store. Overall, customer care and service need significant improvement. This situation caused unnecessary stress and wasted time due to store mistakes and a lack of effective management and communication. Please take customer care seriously, as it directly affects customer trust and overall experience.

    It’s good location. I never found any clothes there that I liked but I found shoes and just was lucky to find Birkenstock slides super inexpensive for rubber shoes, as if they were waiting for me. Canal street store has a memory lane value to me. I lived many years nearby. Miss the city and my neighbourhood.

    If you are a white or mixed-race person or a foreigner with an accent (or both), don’t go to this store. All three associates/cashiers are rude to everyone but African-Americans. I have an accent and they were openly making fun of it while I was standing nearby speaking in my native language to my elderly mother. They never said “please” or “you are welcome,” wailing their arrogance and detest of me or anyone who looks and sounds like me under a mask of “I am tired and I don’t care” face.This was not the first time I noticed this attitude in this particular location. I understand that people in retail are often overworked and tired, especially during the end of the year, but cashiers and store associates in Marshall’s (which is three times more crowded, by the way) right across the street are all nice and never aggressive or rude. I wish I could just leave and not buy anything, but my mother and two children were with me and we were buying UGG boots for one of the children as a gift… I was embarrassed to admit to my elderly foreigner mom that she and me were judged and openly laughed at by the cashiers. I have been living in the U.S. for. a while, but this was the first time I’ve met a group of openly racist people.

    Very unhelpful, unfriendly cashier- received wrong item with an online order, I was told to return wrong item at nordstrom rack. Cashier was quick to say no to me without listening to what I have to say, she told me that I have to go to a nordstrom store. She even confirmed it with the store manager. So I had to call customer service again whom assured me that it will be ok to return wrong item there. Finally I was able to return wrong item with second try. Imagine my frustration, first getting the wrong item then dealing with incompetent staff at nordstrom rack. uurgh

    The store was 85 degrees which made the shopping experience horrible, the only reason I didnt walk out was because I needed a work suit (they said there was a roof leak and air was off) on top of that it took 3 customer service agents to find the key to unlock the watch case glass door.so I could look at watches. Then when I asked one agent why I couldn't find any womans blazers she replied because they mostly have mens suits(the website says differently) Then waited in long line in the heat to buy my items and was sweaty when I walked out Horrible experience Won't be back
