    I do remember times where there was good selection and good service. Over the course of the years boutique become not a good place. Above how I view my latter experience. Purchased grey classic pants over 1 k price, took my time to try on, they had to be shortened. I had interesting experience before when their seamstress name Maria screwed up similar job on other pair and one of my dresses, dress had to be redone, and pants I had to return. To my surprise, she was not let go, so I asked sale associate to check her work before calling me . Am getting item in 2 weeks- awful work. Little alteration place by me did better work on hem. Stitch shall not be visible. Professionally done. Requested re do and deliver w messenger at 6p, as have to leave to workshop .At 6 :10 messenger was not here. Overall , bad management, not professional alterations, and colossal waste of my time and money. Never again. Pls see attached pic. I can just imagine if seamstress do that work on hem, how bad she can screw up more complex things.

    Never purchase anything here if you're a tourist! I have never experienced such poor service from a luxury fashion brand. Four weeks ago, I was in the United States and purchased a pair of heels worth $975. They had a manufacturing defect and completely broke after wearing them for just 10 minutes. I contacted the store, and they initially gave me a hard time because I didn't have the receipt. Eventually, with the help of the Chicago store, I was able to retrieve the receipt and forwarded it to MaxMara customer service. Now they claim they are unable to assist me due to complications between the US and Europe—despite the fact that it's the same parent company. This is outright fraud; they are nothing but thieves.

    Had a pretty bad experience with the SA Tess Landola. She became super busy with another client after I told her I want to try a few styles today and not buy (because I was going to buy a 100% cashmere coat and being 5’3 I needed to know which style fits best, most of maxmara’s classic styles are really long, I needed to know for sure before I spend 5000+).I UNDERSTAND her client had an appointment but why wouldn’t she get another SA that was just standing there in the back to help me? Instead she just pushed me away and said to come back when they had my size. I had other styles I wanted to try on too but she seems too busy and I didn’t know how to ask another SA to help me! And she was explaining the styles of the Lilia and Labbro she said something about oh the biggest difference is the price! if I’m going to buy your 100% cashmere coat for maxmara I don’t care about some $500 price difference, what I care about is the length and you can obviously tell I am short. Which makes think she has no idea about style! So now I don’t even know which style or color to buy. I might as well as spend more at another brand for better service.

    I bought one of their signature coats here on a trip last Christmas and I ended up exchanging it for a different color so I had $300 store credit with them. I emailed them couple times and every time a new associate would responded which made it very confusing cause I had to explain everything again for them. I’ve sent them couple options and they never carried what i wanted eventually they have me a list of their collections and again I’ve send them options but they didn’t carry it. The process has been confusing and frustrating. They didn’t do anything to make it easier for me. And here I am sending them like 10 more options to see if they finally carry one of them. I’ve shopped from many brands and this has been a hard process I had never faced!!!
