Hands down one of the best Alo stores I’ve ever visited.
I was greeted immediately when I walked in, which already set a great tone. I was feeling a little lost and overwhelmed, and an associate came right up to ask if I needed help. I told them I was looking for the Accolade crewneck and matching pants, and they instantly guided me to the section.
The associate was incredibly friendly, organized, and patient. I explained that I’m in between sizes and that shopping can be stressful for me, and they were so understanding. They suggested starting a fitting room right away and walked me through the process step by step. I was attended to on a first-name basis in the fitting room, which made the experience feel very personal almost like a one-on-one styling session.
They kept checking in, saying, “Let me know how the items work out and we can go from there,” which I really appreciated. Buying new clothes can be overwhelming, especially when sizing is tricky, but they made sure I never felt lost or confused.
Even though the store was crowded and very busy, the associates still made time for me and gave me their full attention. I ended up finding an Accolade set that fit perfectly and made me feel great.
Shoutout to the male cashier with glasses outstanding customer service, very professional, and he made the checkout process smooth and easy.
This was truly one of the best shopping experiences I’ve had in a long time. The associates genuinely care about helping guests find styles that work for them. I will definitely be back

I love Alo, I do not love how shoppers of color are treated in Chicago. I understand that theft is a huge problem. But it is not a race issue; it is a character flaw.

Went there on Christmas Eve at 6:30 for last minute shopping and they closed early with no signs in the window. All we got was throat slashing signals from the workers. I understand it's the holidays but we all work late...
GOOD JOB ALO, I WILL NO LONGER BE BUYING YOUR PRODUCTS!

The people that work there are not the brightest. They couldn’t process a simple exchange without 15 minutes of non sense. And I ended up just leaving and doing the exchange online. I called 5-6 times prior to showing up. Nobody answers the phone

Terrible experience in-store during Thanksgiving week. Granted they had 30% sale going on with the holiday, so it being busy was understandable. Nonetheless, I was proactive in doing a pickup order but ended up waiting 30+ minutes for them to figure out an excuse to give me on why they couldn’t find my order. Other customers that came after me for pickup as well continued to receive their order ahead of mine, concluding holiday rush wasn’t the reason. I was told that though my pickup order was ready, someone must have purchased it at the same time hence no item for me. I questioned this as what is the purpose of an email notification about my order being prepped and ready if it’s not in all actuality; especially for a common pullover sweater that should be in stock. A more experienced worker was able to assist me after I explained how a pickup order works, and we were able to get me a new sweater, which the first employee essentially lied about being out of stock. People’s time and money are valuable, so one’s patience can only go so far.
