- MFMariah FatimaMay 5, 20251.0I borrowed loan on gold from this store on Jan 24 2025 and today is May 5th 2025. The gold value is over $25000 and i borrowed $6500. When i went today they said i breached the contract by not renewing the contract with in the 2 months time frame plus an additional 30 days. No one notified that the gold will be sold/melted with in 3 months of not renewing it. Upon questioning i was told that its written on the back of the slip (attached picture) which you can barely read. Its just one sentence which they don’t want to say it orally. However, this is not a fare trade practice to sell the property without notifying the owner. I will surely take this to court of law and will fight till i get justice. Its brutal that these pawn shops not only charge 121.66% annual rate but don’t even bother to call/email to notify before selling your hard earned assets. PLEASE BE CAREFUL
