- JMJennifer MeyerOct 13, 20251.0I bought a white bikini with pink trim on sale for around $10 and the first time I washed it, it came out with pink stains all over the white part! I sprayed it with stain removal, and washed it again, still stained. I kept this process up over several washes until this past weekend when the pink trim stained two additional clothing items (dumb to wash it with other clothes I now realize, but water is expensive). I reached out to American Eagle only to be told “after careful review, we regret to inform you that we are unable to grant an exception to our return policy.” I have been a LOYAL AE customer for over 20 years and have NEVER attempted to get “something for nothing” from them! If I was attempting to con them, I think I’d try to get more than $10!!! Not to mention the ruined clothing thanks to this shoddy product!! Absolutely insane that they would treat a formerly loyal customer like this!!
