  I went to Bass pro shop to pick up my firearm that I bought at Cabela's in Hammond,the retailer behind the desk was very rude and obnoxious I showed him my concealed carry license everything was legit he just didn't want to give me my gun that I purchased from Cabela's and had delivered there. I would never go to this store again for anything this place is terrible in Bolingbrook Illinois. They will lose a lot of business because of the people that work for them. I asked for my refund he said you use debit I said no I use cash so give me my refund he and the other employee escorted me and my wife downstairs to the front desk to get my refund he had the nerve to shake my hand I think he judge me and my wife by our skin color. I think the owners of this place should really look into their employees see how they treat their customers. I would never go to this place again because I don't like feeling that way

  I was greeted as soon as I came in with lovely smiles. I was asked if I needed help with anything and the employees were awesome! Specifically, at my checkout, the cashier Evan was awesome!! he was super funny cracking a bunch of jokes. I was also with my 10 month old nephew and he was so sweet to him. Great experience!!

  DO NOT ORDER AMMO!..unless you don't value your time. You used to be able to order online, pick up at the front desk with your ID and foid. In and out. Then they changed it so you can't even order online for store pick up for months. Now they allow you to order for pick up again. Awesome. I went to pick up my order and they instructed me (at the front) to go up to the gun counter. There is no dedicated online pick up so you have to take a number. After waiting for over an hour I just left and canceled my order. If you can't pick up online ammo orders at the front counter any longer the least they could do is have a dedicated online pick up upstairs and not make you just wait in line for hours while people are purchasing firearms. The 10% discount is not worth the hassle of online ordering and having to first wait for it to ship to store then wait in person just to pick up. Do better Bass Pro. Unacceptable.

  I was at the Bolingbrook location 2/14 approximately 11:30. Me and my family were interested in the tracker ox400. There wasn’t a sales person around. I found a gentleman in the area and asked a few questions. His responses were rude and condescending. I had cash in hand and was ready to purchase but when I asked the man if delivery was available he said he didn’t know. I asked if he could check and let me know. I lingered there a little bit longer while the gentleman just paced and looked at his phone, not getting me an answer. The man didn’t take me seriously. Maybe because I was a female? Maybe because I was wearing sweatpants? Maybe he didn’t want to do his job? I am not sure but a sale was lost because of the lack of customer service. Go elsewhere for a large purchases.

  I do not generally leave reviews but after multiple poor experiences at this location I feel it is important for Bass Pro Management to be aware of how people feel when leaving their store. I am an avid hunter and angler. I am a Bass Pro Club Member and card holder. I have given you all thousands and thousands of dollars of business. However, I am now looking at online shops to give my business to because I do not feel happy about continuing to give it to Bass Pro. Two days ago I went to pick up a firearm that I had ordered and and it took an hour to be seen. Unfortunately this was the fastest wait time I’ve ever had at the gun counter and I’ve had many. While I was there I heard one of the guys behind the counter say well I’m deleting this next guy because he entered the line 2 hours ago and we still haven’t called him so I’m sure he left. Trying to purchase a firearm at this location feels like a trip to the dmv. Slow, disrespectful, and uninformed. The cherry on top of this dmv experience was that the fellow that finally called my name decided he was having a bad day and I was gonna pay for it so he made up fake reasons why I couldn’t actually pick up the gun today. I cannot recommend this location as a viable option for your long term outdoor needs. I will now be bringing my business to Marengo Guns, Range USA, and the online shops that seem to be endless.
