Posting this after repeated, good-faith efforts to resolve the matter directly with both the store and corporate leadership.
On March 21, 2026 (~2:00 PM), I visited this location to request a price match. I came prepared with multiple comparisons, including one for the exact same model at a lower price. I was not given a reasonable opportunity to present that information before the interaction escalated.
During that interaction, a store manager engaged in conduct that I perceived as physically intimidating. While no physical contact occurred, the behavior was not appropriate for a customer-facing environment.
An apology was offered after the fact; however, the conduct itself has not been meaningfully addressed.
Following the incident, I made multiple written attempts to resolve this through corporate channels, including a direct follow-up. More than seven days have now passed without acknowledgment or response.
After reviewing publicly available feedback across multiple locations, I also observed recurring concerns involving escalation by management, inconsistent handling of customer issues, and lack of follow-through. While each situation stands on its own, the consistency is notable.
Given the nature of the incident, it is reasonable to expect that in-store surveillance footage and witness accounts may exist.
At this point, this matter has moved beyond a routine customer service issue and is now centered on accountability and standards of conduct.

I’ve purchased 3 guns here now, guys at the gun counter and great to work with make the process super easy. Most places make you feel guilty for buying a gun the way they look at you but the guys in here are great! Ammo prices are great to.

Not the best SW. In dozens of visits I've never encountered helpful staff. Sometimes they are pointedly unfriendly.

Ordered a rifle here. After a good long while I got a notification it was ready for pickup. Was told rifle did not come in, come back the next day. Next day, told rifle still on truck, come back next day. Next day, busy gun counter (disabled veteran, back pain radiating down my leg) waiting nearly an hour, address different than drivers license (same state and city, shouldn't matter, long guns can be purchased by any state) I have two different state issued docs showing current address, plus other forms of federal ID, was told I need to contact DMV and get proof that they have been informed of my new address (even though one of my docs is a DMV issued title with new address) DMV closed, wait two more days. They kept paperwork and shipping slips and printed me a receipt for that day. I bought the rifle under a 75 dollar mail in rebate. The new receipt was out of date for the mail in rebate by two days. I sent Savage the reciept, original order, explanation and showed bank statement where money was taken for rifle well within the time frame. Savage denied my rebate. Cost me 75 dollars. Tried to leave this review on the Sportsman's warehouse website. Was censored. The website still says "Be the first to review this item", if your review is positive of course. Real honest business. Scope was loose in rings like it had been dropped. Great experience. Just pay the extra money and buy at mom and pops gun shop.
