  I wanted to write about three people on the staff at Nordstrom Rack in Meridian. As I was shopping, I noticed one tall gentlemen on the staff carefully multitasking and what I mean is he was returning items to their locations, bringing out new stock, straightening out clothes as he rolled by with a big rolling cart, he was everywhere, and I thought to myself that he was a gem. Next I saw him again working the dressing room by himself, still in constant motion hanging clothes, passing out cards to people, assuring them their carts were safe. What intrigued me about him was his calm demeanor. He must enjoy his purpose there at Nordstrom. When I came out of the dressing room area, I wanted to get a different size of the same blouse, so I strolled up to the front of the store and couldn't find the rack of the particular blouse I wanted, but then I remember the young man with a calm friendly smile and I walked to the back end of the store to him and ask if the store had another size and if he could help me find it. He examined the blouse and off we went to the rack I couldn't find earlier on my own, but he knew where to find it and he made the exchange. He then walked back to the dressing room. Before leaving, I had to ask him his name and thank him for his help because I was impressed with his attentiveness to everything. He was trained well. His name is Adnan. He's a gem! I then went to pay for the blouse, and lo and behold, I couldn't find my CC. I fretted but the cashier seemed very understanding that I find the card. She was a very kind young lady. It's not their policy to hold clothing, but she called management and they said it was fine to hold the item. I went to my car and was happy to find the CC in my phone wallet. The cashier's name was Bea. She seemed very happy I found the card and could make the purchase. It's young people like this that makes shopping a good experience. They want their customers to be happy and I think it's in these two young people's nature, anyway, both are gems. Third kudos goes to whomever is doing the hiring for Nordstrom at this store, because he/she knows how to find good people!!!

  If I could rate 0, I would. I flew in from Seattle for my daughter’s wedding. We stopped by to look for other options for the wedding, I was followed throughout the store the entire time I was shopping. At every rack I went to there was an employee that soon followed. I had a hand full of items that I was planning on purchasing, as I was looking at watches there were two employees around me and then soon followed by a gentleman that struck up a conversation with me, as the he initiated the conversation, he looked at the items and asked “What’s the Occasion” I have unfortunately been profiled in the past, so it’s nothing out of the norm, but I have never been approached and asked what the items of purchase were for! I am a retired military veteran with two combat deployments and do not deserve to be treated as if I am going to steal items for a store. This was by far the worst experience I have had in retail. I would not recommend supporting a business or store that treats people in this manner.

  Place is great if you want decent shoes or clothing. Nice upgrade from TJ Max or Marshalls. Great golf attire and really great shoes. People there are really nice. Glad Seattle decided to put a store at The Village. Much more convenient than Boise store. Thanks!

  Whoo not a good start for this Nordstrom store from im seeing in the reviews. I'll just stick to the other Nordstrom in boise 😬

  Feels like they have one person working the entire time. Impossible to get any help unless you’re checking out
