I was at this location in December for a Boise State graduation. I was chatting to a taller skinny employee in the trading card section. We talked about the Absolute basketball being a bargain price and pulling a chase card (Kaboom) he told me he had been buying the blaster boxers. I bought two Mega boxes. One was a gift and the other was mine. Needless to say my nephew got pulled a Kaboom. Wish I knew the guys name. He was super helpful.

I was picking up my Springfield TRP and Mike at the gun counter greeted me. He couldn’t have been more courteous and professional. We discussed the firearm and spoke about what optics we were running on some of our other firearms. He was super knowledgeable so it was easy to just have a great conversation. He had me in and out in twenty minutes. I’ve never had a bad experience here. This place cares about their customers. If you have a chance go ahead and check this place out.

SCHEELS is just amazing, I love the layout of their store and how helpful the employees are, while I do find things pricey sometimes, the quality is there, I even have a personal story where an employee named Madilyn, who I assume is community outreach, donated to my school allowed us to do our towel drive. SCHEELS is just great.

Staff are very kind and helpful. Sadly, there is a communication issue between departments that results in poor service if you are needing a product delivered to your home. My family and I had to go to the store several times, called, and we never received our delivery, which was a treadmill we purchased. We brought home a treadmill and after assembly, we found it to be defective. Scheel’s didn’t have a replacement, so they asked us to come in and pick out a different machine. Staff promised to call us back and deliver the new machine, but didn’t follow through. The end result was we have to now try to unload a broken treadmill, as Scheel’s didn’t seem eager to fix our issue and help us out. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend their delivery service or purchasing any large equipment. If you’re looking to buy smaller pricey items in a mini shopping mall, I’m sure your experience will be fantastic. On a positive note, their fish tank is awesome, and they do have a Ferris wheel inside you can ride. I’m sorry that I can’t write a good review, and I hope other customers don’t receive the same treatment my family did.

We were receptive to learn that the Ferris attraction was of no cost the day after solstice visiting family from out of state. Very clever the length of the line equaling the amount of time to waite before the ride. Not 7 seconds into the line someone bumped their cumbersome magnetic measuring stick which fell and hit a small child. Lawsuit pending. A woman of 50 with a severe ice blonde Updo was policing the area making public judgments on children’s hight eligibility. INCLUDING the traumatized child who was just assaulted by the heavy object. Saying she couldn’t go on the ride if her face was looking up, but if she was looking straight ahead she was tall enough to participate, at which point the father AND two others in line, hopelessly explained the miss step in defying gravity attempt made earlier by their massive measuring pole, that easily could have resulted in a concussion of a small child. This woman imported from nampa on her name tag, had no interest in acknowledging the incident occurred. We decided to take matters into our own hands when exiting the experience, 4 revolutions of you’re interested, and making sure she understood that while her attempts at avoiding a lawsuit were noble, she had a lawsuit starring her in the face. Let me reiterate. THAT MASSIVE CUMBERSOME HEAVY MEASURING STICK JUST FELL AND HIT A SMALL CHILD! And might I take this opportunity to emphasize to you dear reader, this child was so small she wasn’t going to let the child on the ride initially! I digress, we were determined to help her realize this incident. Immediately her eyes glazed over, she’d heard all before. Hopeless idiots making fantastical fantasy allegations that could never hope to be true. The excuse she gave us as to why the measuring weapon COULDN'T! UNDER ANY POSSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES be put INSIDE the gate was so laughable I thought I was at open mic night. Was her dismissal due to the ethnicity of the child? Or was she so dismissive to the people reporting the issue because of their obvious orientation? Probably as improbable as the theory of gravity and injury.
