- SSsarah skeemJan 25, 20261.0Shopper beware. I rarely leave reviews and usually only to leave a good review, but I feel like people should beware of shopping at J Crew. I purchased a sweater as a gift for Christmas and after one wash it looked like it had been washed 100 times. The pilling started before its first wash but after it was washed on cold, inside out and hung to dry (I’m very gentle with laundering clothes) it looked like a 10 year old sweater. Not wearable if you care at all how you look. I took it in to return it and they said they couldn’t do anything. No option to trade it in, store credit or return (although I wouldn’t want another sweater- clearly poor quality materials). I told them to dispose of the sweater- and only regret I didn’t take a photo to share in this review. If you want to shop a store with quality clothes, or a store that stands by their products- this is not that store.

We had to get an extra suit at a later date and they still matched the previous price they had given me. Excellent servixe and friendly help.
