  🌺 English Thank-You Letter To the kind lady who helped me at the Ala Moana Service Center: Hello. On November 5th, we had a brief yet unforgettable encounter at the service counter of the Ala Moana Center. Although our time together lasted only a few minutes, your kindness and warmth have stayed deeply in my heart. That day, I was anxious because I had lost my bag on the bus. While I was trying to explain the situation to the staff, you overheard my conversation and, without any hesitation, stepped forward to help me. You kindly offered to make the call to the Lost and Found office, and patiently confirmed the details for me. Even though your own foot was injured and wrapped in a cast, you still stood beside me and supported me like a beam of light. What touched me even more was that you encouraged and comforted me, and even gave me a new bag of your own—simply because you didn’t want my trip to be clouded by sadness over losing something. At that moment, it felt like the person standing beside me wasn’t a stranger in a foreign country, but a gentle, kind angel. Although we parted quickly and didn’t exchange names, I will always remember your figure, your voice, and the warmth you gave me. The world is a better place because of people like you. If anyone who sees this letter recognizes her, please help me pass on my heartfelt gratitude.   Today (Monday, November 17) when me and my sister came to the LV store at Ala Moana to make an exchange of a product, the manager was very rude to us. We were previously told an exchange policy from another employee, but the manager told us a different policy. During the exchange, he even asked me if I understood what he said. That is unacceptably rude and racist. The whole experience makes me feel so upset and overall disappointed in the customer service of your store.

  Wer glaubt, an diesem Ort ein Shopping Center zu finden, wie man sie in Europa kennt, hat sich getäuscht. Ja, es gibt viele kleine Lädchen, man kann schön bummeln, aber so wirklich einkaufen kann man hier nicht. Viel ist auf Souvenirs ausgelegt, aber das ist vollkommen in Ordnung, man wird hier fündig. Insgesamt kann man hier ca 60-90 Minuten einplanen, dann ist man mit einem Bummel durch.

Whether you’re shopping luxury brands, checking out local stores, or finding something for the keiki, there’s plenty to see. Tons of great food too — hot pot, Chinese, bakeries, bars, and quick bites if you’re on the go. The live local music and hula around the center make it even better! ⭐ Short and upbeat version (good for Google/Yelp): Love Ala Moana! Great mix of shops for everyone, amazing food choices, and fun local entertainment all around the mall. Always a great time here!

  After attending the Honolulu Marathon Expo at the Hawaii Convention Centre around the corner, I found my way gravitating towards Ala Moana Centre. As it was dark already, I didn't realise it was an open area shopping centre, I just thought it was dark low level lighting to add to the ambience. This place is massive, so many stores to choose from. It was December when I visited so Christmas was in full swing, including on the Centre Stage with Carols. The Food Court was massive with plenty of choices. Easy to walk as well, a pleasant walk back to Kuhio Avenue from Ala Moana Centre.
