  I went in today with my partner as he wanted to get me a ring for my 50th birthday. The whole experience from choosing the ring to purchasing it was amazing, the customer service was excellent , we had Athena who made me feel so special , the added touch of a glass of champagne to mark the occasion was a beautiful touch.. I would highly recommend Goldsmiths and I know where I will be getting all future jewellery from from now.. Thank you Karen and Phil x

  A new Mappin & Webb branch in Chichester has opened up and what a lovely customer service we experienced there. My wife wanted to purchase a Longines watch for me for a special birthday and we went into store on their first day of opening. We met with a lovely representative, Suda, who gave us the full wealth of her experience in the watch and jewellery trade. She made us feel at ease and devoted sometime to us going over the range and their various attributes. I didn’t at that point purchase a watch as I wanted to go away and consider it. A couple of weeks later my wife and and I decided to go in and purchase one of the watches I had first seen. We made a further appointment with the sales representative, Suda and again, we were afforded a lovely experience. The particular watch we purchased had a leather strap and I enquired what the watch would look like with a metal link bracelet. Suda arranged to have this ordered in with a metal link bracelet for me to look at. Considering this was just prior to Christmas the watch did turn up in reasonably good time in the New Year for my Birthday. We purchased the watch and at that time as an additional purchase we also ordered in the leather strap. We were advised that by visiting the branch either strap could be fitted on the watch in store giving me a choice of two different looking watches! Throughout this process we received regular updates from Suda as to when the watch would be arriving and she very thoughtfully sent me a Birthday message wishing me a Happy Birthday! My wife and I have over the years purchased a few watches and so know what to expect regarding customer service, we can both say that Mappin and Webb in Chichester gave us the full 5 star experience. On the back of this my wife has arranged to have one of her watches serviced through them and recently went in and took her Longines watch in, which wasn’t purchased there, but the sales representative, Hannah, took no time in adding another link into her watch bracelet as part of our customer-related experience.
