- GBG BMar 20, 20261.0I would like to start out by saying thank you to Angela in customer service for helping me deal with the atrocious service I received in Windsor TK Maxx today. I bought an item 3 days ago after spending almost £400 in another branch. While I was purchasing the bag in the other store the tag fell off so the staff member stapled it to my receipt in case of return. I tried to return to Windsor branch today and they would not allow me to return despite having the tag, the receipt and being well within the 28 day return window. I proceeded to ask for a manager after I was told no. The manager came over and I pointed out the receipt stated handbag I had the tag, she then said 'No way was this bag £150, it's about £35 and you're just trying it on'. I am shocked. To be accused of lying and essentially theft / tag swapping to return this item. I feel appalled by the service today. Your staff need training, not only in returns to genuine customers but also in customer service and basic ability to speak to other humans. This was two ladies working in the womenswear tills around 10:30am 20.03.2026. Quite honestly as someone who spends a lot in TK Maxx, one interaction in this shop today has lost you a customer and a lot of revenue. I will return my bag in the other store, as customer services have advised, suggesting there is NO problem at all. Absolutely rude staff.
