  I had a very good experience at Goldsmiths St James Quarter. Although I encountered an issue with my initial purchase, the Deputy Manager, Eva, handled it with incredible efficiency and care. She immediately arranged for me to re-select a different piece, turning a potentially stressful situation into a seamless and enjoyable process. Eva's professionalism and dedication to customer statisfaction are truly top-tier. I cant recommend Eva enough for her amazing service. This lady is truley a great assest to whatever company is lucky enough to have her as a member of their team. I cannot recommend her enough for her amazing service.

  We were passing the shop in the new centre at St.James Quarter and popped in. The 2 members of staff Vicki and Eva, were exceptionally nice and friendly. They gave great advice and assisted in a purchase of a ring, they were very professional. Members of staff Goldsmiths should be proud of, well done.

  Popped in to have a look at a Tudor Panda and left with a new appreciation for how welcoming the other watch shops on Princes Street are. The atmosphere here was… impressively flat. No offer to sit down, no drink, and the overall enthusiasm felt somewhere between “mild inconvenience” and “please leave soon”. The assistant assisting me delivered the entire interaction with the energy of someone who had just discovered it was Monday again. Conversation was minimal, excitement about watches was even more minimal. The conversation was flat, awkward, and felt more like a chore than an interaction with someone supposedly passionate about watches. Luxury watch boutiques usually pride themselves on the experience as much as the product. Unfortunately this felt more like asking someone for the time at a bus stop on a good day! No worries though mate, Edinburgh has plenty of great watch shops. I’ll happily be buying my Tudor elsewhere and sell my Black phantom!

  Huge big shout out and thank you to Sasha at Goldsmiths St James Quarter! Honestly, this woman deserves a medal… or at least a pay rise. Sasha managed to size my partner’s ring from just a photograph and somehow got it absolutely perfect. Meanwhile, we had already been measured somewhere else and were given the wrong size… so clearly Sasha has some sort of jewellery superpower. My partner of 26 years is soon to be my husband, and today we collected my ring. It fitted perfectly thanks to Sasha, although we nearly fainted when we discovered since we paid in full the price had gone up by £700! I’m blaming the diamonds… definitely not my taste in jewellery. We were really sad to hear the branch she works at is closing and that she’s losing her job, because she is genuinely brilliant at what she does. Whoever hires her next is getting an absolute gem (pun fully intended). Thank you, Sasha, for making such an important moment in our lives go so smoothly and perfectly. We’re both really sad we won’t get to see you through the ring engraving and the wedding preparations, but we’re so very grateful for everything you’ve done for us.
