  Visited the Charles Tyrwhitt store in Cheltenham yesterday looking at linen shirts for summer. While browsing, I noticed there were no clear individual prices displayed, so I politely asked at the till about pricing. The response was disappointing. I was told the shirts were “£150 if you buy four, otherwise £75 each,” and when I queried the lack of pricing display, I was met with a dismissive and unnecessarily rude attitude, including being told I “obviously didn’t know what I was talking about.” Retail is challenging enough without alienating customers through poor service and arrogance. A little professionalism and courtesy go a long way, especially for a premium menswear brand. Needless to say, I won’t be returning. Fortunately, Eton continues to offer far better quality and a much more refined customer experience.

  After visiting several other shops beforehand and getting no welcome or offer of assistance. I was immediately greated and offered help if required. Been a while since I have been suit/shirt shopping. Lady who helped me was called Favour, helped with measurements, style and and suggestions. She was genuine, not rushing me and provided many options. Ended up just buying shirts as couldn't decide on which outfit to go for. Will definitely be back next time I need something. It is the type of customer service you used to get years ago and still do in the US, highly recommend Charles Tyrwhitt and Favour is outstanding.

  I had a spectacular experience at this store while trying to buy myself some new shirts. I have unusual proportions, which is a trouble in any other store, but this store allows nearly any combination of neck, fit, and sleeve, so I was able to get something that felt good and looked good. While I was in the store, I received a lot of assistance from Favour. She was brilliant, friendly, helpful, and patient. She also gave me some much appreciated (i requested it) feedback on how the fit looked. She was also kind enough to point out how, after buying 2 shirts for their normal price, there was a deal on where I could get 4 for very nearly the same price. So she then kindly went to the trouble of refunding those 2, only to buy them again with another 2 of the right measurements, and in a style I liked. Excellent on every level. Almost a pity that I now have all the shirts I'll need for a long time and might not have reason to return and buy more.
