We visited the Bracknell store initially and were very pleased with the service. The lady who assisted us was lovely, extremely helpful, and took precise measurements for tailoring.
However, when we returned to collect the suit, we noticed some loose threads. When we raised this, the manager reassured us it was nothing to worry about. Once we got home and took a closer look, we discovered a pull in the back of the jacket. We returned the next day, but the team was quite standoffish and insisted their tailors don’t usually make mistakes. They did agree to order a new jacket to be tailored.
While in store, we checked other jackets on display and even found one with a significant rip in the back, which we pointed out to management.
When we came back to collect the replacement jacket, the experience was again disappointing. The team remained dismissive. We were told the manager had inspected the jacket, but the tailoring on the back seam was clearly poor, with visible puckering. Although it smooths slightly when worn, that’s beside the point the quality of the tailoring was not acceptable. The sales assistant also left before we could properly raise our concerns.
Overall, aside from the excellent service we received from the first staff member, the experience was very disappointing and poorly handled. This is not the level of service or quality you would expect when spending £700 on a suit.
