- EPEmilie PayneJan 30, 20263.0Let me preface this by saying the only reason I gave any stars is because all the other staff are decent, polite and helpful. However, today I went in and was served by a lady with short hair and glasses. Upon asking for my email for a receipt I asked for a paper copy, like I have done many times and do in most stores when buying clothes. It’s my preference and that’s ok. She stated they are paper free, I said I know but I would like a paper receipt. I could literally see the button on the till to print a paper one. I am ALL for saving where possible but in this instance I needed a paper one. As well as huffing and puffing as she handed me the receipt (finally) she also continued to berate me about it in a loud voice as I left the store, of which I regularly use and like. This isn’t the first occasion she’s done this. She either doesn’t care about how to talk to customers irrespective of the situation, or doesn’t actually know a thing about customer service. I’d personally say both. I FULLY appreciate protocol may be to ask to offer an email receipt where possible but sometimes it’s not ideal to the customer. If she had used a different tone and approach then this wouldn’t have been written. She’s a nuisance to your business and puts me off going in there knowing I’ll have to have the same back and forth with her in the future. All other staff wonderful and have gone above and beyond on other occasions when I’ve needed assistance.
