  My experience started a few weeks ago when I purchased a pair of jeans from Calvin Klein at Lakeside Shopping Centre. As soon as I entered the store, I noticed that one of the staff members was wearing a really nice pair of jeans. I asked if he could help me find a similar pair, and he was happy to assist. He found the right size for me, and before purchasing them, I specifically asked whether the colour would transfer onto shoes, clothes, or socks. The staff member assured me that the colour would not transfer onto anything, but advised me to wash the jeans once in cold water as a precaution. I followed his instructions exactly. Unfortunately, after wearing the jeans for just around 20 minutes, the colour transferred heavily onto my brand-new shoes, which were also worth approximately £120, and unfortunately ruined them. I immediately returned to the store to ask for an explanation. On this occasion, I spoke with a female member of staff, whose name I unfortunately did not get. I was advised to wash the jeans again in cold water and was told that the problem should disappear. I was also told that if the problem continued, I should return to the store and the issue would be sorted. I followed the advice and washed the jeans twice more in cold water. Unfortunately, nothing changed. In fact, the colour transfer became even worse. I returned to the store again and spoke with a member of staff named Alexia. She kindly took another brand-new pair of the same jeans and tested them herself. The colour transferred in exactly the same way, confirming that there appeared to be a problem with the product. Alexia acknowledged that something was not right and said she would try to help. After speaking with the manager, I was advised to contact Customer Service for further assistance, as the store apparently could not offer a refund or resolve the colour-transfer issue. Unfortunately, my experience with Customer Service was also very unhelpful. At this point, I have spent £120 on a pair of jeans and have also had a brand-new pair of £120 Nike Air Force shoes ruined as a result of the colour transfer. I followed the instructions provided by the store, washed the jeans as advised, and even returned to the shop multiple times to try to resolve the issue. I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the product and the way my complaint has been handled. I expected much better from Calvin Klein.
