  I am so happy about finding Matalan. It is a nice place to buy clothes, they have a good range of sizes. From extra small to plus size. I have seen some of the blouses in a charity shop (what it is nice to know different clothes without going to a lot of shops). I've got a papaya one then I googled about the brand and I came in store today. The staff is very friendly (specially Alice).

  Not been for sometime. Nice to see they have changing rooms again. Got some bargain dresses for holidays

  Pleasant shop, about the only place I can find extra extra large clothes for my daughter, shame you have to get bigger online and not in store

  Had the most helpful lady (Debbie) yesterday Saturday 25 April 2026, my old matalan card wouldn’t work so she spent ages helping me set up another new one on my iPhone . She was brilliant. Wish all staff were as helpful as she was .. MASSIVE THANK YOU DEBBIE

  Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the placement of CCTV cameras in Matalan Swindon. During my recent visit, I noticed what appeared to be a CCTV camera positioned in or directed toward the changing room area. This caused me significant discomfort, as customers expect a high level of privacy and security when using these facilities. The presence of surveillance equipment in or near such a sensitive space raises important questions about customer privacy and data protection. I also approached a member of staff to ask about this. However, when I raised the concern, she appeared visibly panicked and quickly walked away without providing any explanation. This response further added to my unease. I would appreciate it if you could urgently clarify: Whether any cameras are installed in or facing changing rooms The purpose and coverage range of these cameras What measures are in place to ensure customer privacy is fully protected If this is indeed the case, I strongly urge you to review the positioning of any surveillance equipment to ensure it complies with privacy regulations and respects customer dignity. I look forward to your prompt response and reassurance that this matter is being taken seriously.
