  I was on your waiting list for approximately six years for a Rolex sports model and never received a call. During that time I spent around £16,000 with your business, hoping to build a relationship. I was also encouraged to spend around £10,000 on a watch I didn’t actually want, with the clear impression that it would help “grease the wheels” and improve my chances of being allocated the Rolex I had been waiting for. Looking back, I feel that expectation was never realistic. My experience left me feeling that unless you’re one of the dealer’s biggest clients, your chances of being offered a highly sought-after Rolex are extremely slim. I fully understand that demand exceeds supply, but I would have appreciated honesty and transparency about how allocations worked rather than being encouraged to continue spending without any realistic expectation of receiving the watch. I’m sharing my own experience so that other customers can make an informed decision. If your expectation is that loyalty and significant spending will lead to an allocation, my experience suggests that may not be the case.   From entry to the store, to all our dealings with Katrina our sales lady who was superb to the gent who adjusted the watch strap, the whole experience was special on a special birthday, The complimentary beverages was the cherry on the cake, and all the staff were exemplary.

  Having been a Laings customer for a number of years, I have always found them to be service orientated. After purchasing more than 5 watches from them, I am pleased to say that each purchase I am dealt with like it was my first. They are always happy to help and find the watch that is next on my order list.
