Shooting Star Children’s Hospices charity shops sell a wide range of quality second hand items to raise the funds which help keep our two hospices and our hospice at home service open. 90% of the money we need to stay open comes from public donations. By shopping in store, or donating items, you're helping to support children with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
As our shops are run by volunteers, very occasionally we may be forced to close at short notice. If you are planning to visit to drop off a lot of donations, please give us a call beforehand.
We are always happy to accept donations during store opening hours. We cannot take certain items including fur, electrical and children's toy's without a CE mark.
Customers generally enjoyed the food, noting it was fresh and tasty, although there were some complaints about specific items being cold or not prepared correctly.
