- JOJonathan OrrAug 22, 20265.0My wife and i had an excellent shopping experience at the Guildford branch. We were looked after by Anna who had wonderful product knowledge and seemed to want to make sure that we were happy with our purchase rather than rush us into a sale. Would recommend 100%.
- JJJenAug 18, 20265.0First-class customer service at the Guildford store. The staff were knowledgeable, super helpful and understanding of my child with special needs. The glasses I wanted weren’t in stock, but they went out of their way to source them from another branch. I was also given an honest opinion about the look and fit of the glasses which I really appreciated. They weren’t pushy at all and made the whole experience very easy and enjoyable. I’m really looking forward to wearing my new sunglasses :) My only comment is that I wish the store was a little bigger!

- CTClare TharmeJul 11, 20265.0Great experience. Lady at Guildford store is excellent. Knew her stuff. Recommending different styles and colours. If you need some new sunglasses this is the place!!
- CCChrissyJul 8, 20263.0I visited the Sunglass Hut in Guildford on 7 July to ask if my sunglasses could be adjusted, as they had become a little loose. A lady with dark hair explained that the adjustment machine was broken, which I completely understood and I was happy to leave then. She gave me some useful information about my sunglasses, sizing and how to wear them properly. I appreciated that part of the interaction. However, what left a negative impression was the way I was spoken to. I had my sunglasses resting on top of my head, and she repeatedly commented that they were “an expensive headband” etc. I now understand I should not wear them that way, but repeating it several times came across as patronising rather than helpful. I left quickly feeling embarrassed and low in mood and as though I was being spoken down to because I am young. Advice is always welcome and I am thankful for her advice , but there’s a difference between educating a customer and making them feel belittled. I rarely leave reviews and I am sorry it’s not a completely good one
