After visiting another Goldsmiths branch previously and not quite coming away with the experience I’d hoped for, I’ll admit I arrived at Goldsmiths store at Cabot Circus slightly apprehensive. Interestingly, a friend of mine who works within the watch industry for Hamilton had spoken very highly of Richard and the wider team there and encouraged me to visit whilst travelling for work, so I decided to make the trip. I’m very glad I did. From the moment I arrived, Ashley and the wider team made the whole experience feel relaxed, welcoming and genuine. No pressure, no awkwardness, just proper conversation with people who are clearly passionate and knowledgeable about watches and the industry as a whole, not just the specific brands they represent. I was very open and honest about my own journey into watches and the reasons behind wanting to begin my collection with the Submariner 126610LV, particularly due to the sentimental connection it holds for me in honour of my late father. At no point did the conversation feel transactional or forced, which I genuinely appreciated. Ashley in particular was excellent throughout. Professional, approachable and incredibly insightful across multiple brands in store. We ended up chatting about everything from family dynamics through to upcoming industry collaborations, including an Omega and James Bond video-game partnership which amusingly then appeared as an advert on my phone shortly after leaving the store. Proof our phones are definitely listening to us these days! I left feeling genuinely looked after and very much looking forward to visiting again soon, this time with my wife, who has now also expressed an interest in beginning a collection of her own. We’re looking forward to returning to explore the Oyster Perpetual range together and finding the right fit for her. Huge thanks again to Ashley and the wider team for such a positive experience. At this rate, I may have to look at buying a Hamilton whilst I’m there next time as a thank you to my friend, Connor for pointing me in the right direction!

Greeted by very friendly staff and was shown to a desk where I was able to discuss size and style of watch then Cody (sales assistant) bought watches to the desk to try on until I found the perfect one. The whole experience was very professional and enjoyable.

Terrible experience. Kate and Richard were friendly and lovely but I have been met with a disgusting and deplorable allegation following the appointment. Me and my connections are vetoing the business for the time being until this is amended. I’m disgusted and floored by how this company has treated myself after doing so much for me previously in the past. I was hoping to continue positive relations with WOSG and provide valuable business to them but for the time being this has stopped.

I am writing this specifically for the Head Office. I purchased two watches on 15/04/2026, with a promised collection date of 22/04/2026. Despite the deadline, I didn't receive a single email update. I spent hours on hold over multiple weeks only to be told they were "in transit." On my final call on the 29th—just one day before I was set to fly—I was devastated to learn they had actually sold one of my watches to another customer. The lack of communication and mismanagement from the head office was incredibly stressful and disappointing. However, I want to give a huge shout-out to the showroom team, especially Josh. They stepped up and were amazing during a very hectic situation. While I didn’t get the original watch I loved and had to settle for a different one because of the head office's mishap, the local service was the only saving grace. Great people in-store, but the head office team needs a serious look at their processes.
