I visited the Longwell Green branch in Bristol with my wife and underage daughter to help them choose some summer clothes. While sitting quietly on a chair outside the changing cabins to give my opinion on the outfits, a staff member passed me multiple times without saying a word. After 15 minutes, she abruptly and aggressively approached me, saying in a grave tone "you should get out of here" in a thoroughly rude and disrespectful manner. When I questioned why, she rudely snapped that it was a "women-only fitting room" and demanded I wait outside, completely ignoring that I was there with my family. This hostile confrontation left my young daughter distressed and my wife deeply upset. We walked away from a £120 purchase and left the store entirely. When I complained, Customer Care admitted that their policy actually ALLOWS people accompanying minors into the fitting room area. Yet, instead of taking accountability, they tried to excuse the employee's power trip by blaming another customer's "concern." If your staff do not know your own store policies, and think it is acceptable to treat a father helping his daughter like a criminal, you are not a family-friendly business. To top it off, their automated complaint response included a tone-deaf link to "freshen up my wardrobe." We will never shop here again. Disgusting attitude and zero respect for customers.
