  Had a really great experience at Goldsmiths Rolex Boutique in Oxford today. As a watch enthusiast, I will typically always stop by a Rolex boutique I’m passing, and today when visiting I was greeted in and shown around the new in house service centre - such a great experience. Thanks Michael for the hospitality. I’ll be back next time I need a service for sure!

  I recently visited Goldsmiths Oxford following a very difficult experience after being the victim of a robbery and visiting to replace items with my insurance claim. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with kindness, empathy and genuine care. The team were incredibly friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. I was even offered a lovely cup of tea and biscuits, which made me feel welcome and at ease straight away. A special thank you to Harsh and the blonde manager, who handled everything with such professionalism and sensitivity. They took the time to listen, explained everything clearly, and treated the situation with the respect and understanding it deserved. What could have been a very upsetting appointment became a genuinely positive experience. The level of service I received was exceptional and felt truly luxurious – unlike anything I’ve experienced elsewhere in Oxford. Every member of the team made me feel valued and cared for. I can’t recommend Goldsmiths Oxford highly enough. Outstanding customer service and a credit to the brand.

  Awful experience, 5 people walked past us with bad attitudes and didn’t ask if we wanted any help. Young lady was too busy in her phone talking about her partner to her colleague. Awful place, bad service since the refit.

  I purchased an engagement ring from Goldsmiths on 24 February and was promised it would be ready by 24 March. On that date — after no proactive contact from the store — I had to call them myself, only to be told there would be a further 6 to 8 week delay due to a ring sizing issue that should have been identified and acted on at the point of sale. The original 4-week promise was either uninformed or unrealistic. Either way, it was a commitment they failed to honour, and I was never warned in advance — I had to chase them on the deadline date itself. When I called for an update, a staff member’s response to my frustration was to ask ‘do you want to cancel your order?’ — for an engagement ring. That response was dismissive and showed a complete lack of empathy for what this purchase means to a customer. The ring ultimately arrived after 3 months — three times the original timeframe. My main point of contact, was apologetic and I believe his hands were tied. The failure here is systemic — poor planning, no proactive communication, and inadequate customer care. I would not recommend Goldsmiths for a purchase of this significance.

  I went into Goldsmiths to discuss repairs for my watch and Michael Yap, the Rolex Technician was excellent. He delivers a fantastic customer experience as a result of his wonderful knowledge, technical skill and ability to quickly gain trust from his customer. An absolutely first rate service. Jason
