  I had purchased a top for my Wife, unfortunately it was the wrong size. I always keep receipts just in case, but had misplaced the receipt on this occassion. I understand Matalan policies regarding the changing of goods and thought this would be difficult as I had lost the receipt in question. Returning to the store in Scarborough I asked for the Manager to see what she could do. I explained the issue and she reported that she could check previous receipts from that particular day. I did remember the date and time as I had taken a picture to show my Wife the top. The Manger was very accommodating, she checked the receipt which was correct and I gave her the last 4 numbers of the credit card I had used. All sorted with very little fuss and she did this in a polite and professional manner and I just wanted to thank her for sorting out the problem - well done, Regards, Kevin Carson.

  It's rare to actually find a Matalan these days so this one is a treat. Nice big store with a great range of goods. The staff seem very pleasant and obliging.
