  I’ve used this matalan for nearly 40 years, not a regular customer, so I can tell when things change there; yes the lay out changes , as it does in all shops, but tbh I was disappointed that the clothes range is never hardly any different, it always has that older person style look, I do think there needs a bit more updated designs. However it will appeal to the older generation. Now, and this is for all generations- there needs to be some heating on in there in winter and cold days- we came last week, omg it was fleeing in there, really cold, tbh I wasn’t sure if it was colder inside than outside, we wanted to try something on in the changing room- it was the fastest change imaginable lol it was fleeing cold! Come on matalan put some heat into the place, no wonder it was very quiet, people are stood outside keeping warm lol I’m giving it 3 stars for cleanliness, it will appeal to the older generation, it’s got a good range of baby wear, and the prices are ok 😊

  Cheap and cheerful Just had a refit and looked good Lots of items in the sale, lots of Claires items at £1 each! Great selection of toys and clothes for children Lots of selection, women's, mens, childrens, home furniture and children's toys for sale

  Great customer service from the man at the counter when returning items, even half an hour before closing.
