  After having no success In purchasing a Rolex time piece as a milestone event for my son in Vancouver, Canada, I was recommended to visit the Northern Goldsmith boutique in Newcastle, where I was visiting. My son and I walked in wearing simple, comfortable clothing, and we are warmly welcomed by a representative within the first minute of walking into the store. Normally, high-end boutiques will judge you based on the clothing you’re wearing, but in no way did the employees pass judgement. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman (Kamal) who showed us the available time pieces. We had conversations about the city and discussed the history and the origins of the store. We later learned he was the boutique manager and normally does not do sales but since everyone was busy, he made sure we were received well. We were offered complementary drinks during our viewing (I highly recommend the Venus cocktail!!). This was a big purchase, so I informed them that I would like to have a discussion with my wife and would be back tomorrow. We returned the following morning and we were assisted by Colin Hogarth who went into the details of the watch’s movement, how to adjust the time/date and care for the piece. I can say nothing but great words for the whole experience and a very thankful for the assistance. I have been to many high end boutique stores, jewelry stores and to exotic car showrooms and have never been treated with so much respect. Thank you to the team at Northern Goldsmiths especially Kamal and Colin.

  My first impression of Goldsmiths was how welcome I was made to feel. Both Colin and Tina couldn’t do enough for me from the moment I walked through the door. Complimentary refreshment on arrival and even asking if the temperature was okay for me where I was sat. Colin provided me with all the information I needed and more, both in store and via email when I had additional questions later. I am over the moon with the service I received from Colin and will be insisting that any future purchases are through him. Colin’s calm and professional manner really made me feel at ease. And just general conversation with him about Rolex and watches in general was great. Thank you to Colin and Tina. I will certainly be back again.

  I had an outstanding experience purchasing my new Rolex. From the moment I walked into the store, I was made to feel welcome and valued. The salesperson was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional, taking the time to answer all of my questions without any pressure. Their expertise and genuine enthusiasm made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable. They helped me find the perfect watch, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The level of customer service was second to none, and it's clear the store takes great pride in providing a first-class experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a luxury timepiece. Thank you for making this such a special occasion—an easy 10/10!
