  I visited the Christian Louboutin concession at Selfridges Exchange Square this afternoon and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. After trying on a pair of shoes, I was instructed to pick them up from the floor myself, despite the staff member standing very close by. I picked up one shoe and was then told to pick up the other as well. What made the situation more surprising was that I had already walked over and was standing directly at the counter, ready to proceed with payment, when I was called back to pick up the shoes from the floor. The staff member assisting me was a white British female associate with light brown/blonde long hair worn down, working during the afternoon shift. What made the situation more confusing was that shortly after, I observed another customer being assisted differently, the shoes were picked up for her without being instructed to do so herself. This inconsistency in service felt unprofessional and raised concerns about unequal treatment. I understand that different stores may operate with varying service styles. However, when purchasing luxury products at this price point, customers reasonably expect a consistent standard of attentiveness and professionalism. I still proceeded with my purchase, so this feedback is coming from a paying customer who believes the experience should reflect the prestige and pricing of the brand. After reading other reviews, I noticed multiple similar concerns regarding customer service at this location, which suggests this may not be an isolated incident. Luxury retail is not only about the product, it is about how customers are made to feel. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so that service can better align with the brand’s reputation.

  Not overly pleased with the service I received, was given a damaged box and got an eye roll when i went to swap it. for £600 a pair I expected better.
