  I recently had a deeply upsetting experience at your store. A Polish sales assistant repeatedly asked me why I didn’t return to my homeland, despite explaining that my country has been in civil conflict for over 40 years. She continued to make insensitive comments, suggesting I should return even though I had never been to my country and have lived my entire life in Europe. Only after my partner showed her news articles about the war did the situation shift. While another staff member, arrived to help, the assistant’s behavior left me frustrated and angry. As a paying customer and taxpayer, I expect professionalism and respect. I’m concerned about what kind of employment standards are in place at Goldsmith’s, as this behavior seems unacceptable, especially in such a diverse area like Stratford. I hope the company takes this matter seriously and addresses the sales assistant's actions. A mere apology isn't enough—appropriate action is needed to ensure this doesn't happen again.

  I ordered a very expensive diamond ring and waited many many weeks over the estimated delivery date before receiving the ring. I received no update on the delays or any contact from the staff at Goldsmiths. I had to keep chasing Goldsmiths for an update and even then I didn’t get any call backs despite being told I will be called back. The ring is beautiful but I’m very disappointed with the service and the length it took!

  I came to the store looking for a wedding band for myself. Initially I was just browsing the options as was not sure what I was looking for or the style I'd like. I was approached by Alvi who talked me through the ring options available and we were able to identify one ring that I liked the most in our conversation. As the size I needed was not available, Alvi helped me to make an order to store. There were some delays, but Alvi was in contact with me throughout with reassuring updates and checking in from his end. When the ring was finally available I was very pleased with it when I collected it. I am grateful for Alvi's amazing customer service and great co-operation from start to finish. I did not envision leaving with a ring after my first visit, but I am glad I came in. Thank you Alvi!
