  Hi, I was very disappointed with my experience with Goldsmiths. My partner bought me a necklace which broke after only four months, falling apart in my hands. I have never had a gold necklace fail like this before, which makes me question the quality. I first visited Watches of Switzerland, where the necklace had been delivered for convenience, but was told I would have to go to Goldsmiths instead. I then travelled to the Stratford store, where the service was very slow. The member of staff who served me was kind, but the return process took around 30 minutes. I was also told that if the manufacturer decided the damage was not due to a fault, I would be charged £60 for a repair, despite the item being covered by a 12-month manufacturing guarantee and failing after only four months. I asked whether the repaired necklace could be posted to my home, as Stratford is 30 minutes from my work, but this was refused and I was told it could only be collected in store. This was very inconvenient. Since then, Goldsmiths called to say they had not recorded the reference number on my receipt. I was at work and unable to talk, so I said I would call back. I have now called four times and each call went to voicemail. I have also sent several emails and have not received a single reply. Overall, I am disappointed by both the quality of the product and the lack of communication afterwards. I would like this resolved and hope Goldsmiths will improve its customer service.

  Good for purchasing, when you go there to buy they offer a good impression and they are very nice, I was happy when I got out with my new watchz but do not expect any commun courtesy when you need to repair with their own insurrence that they offer. I sent my watch to reaper and in over a month I have never got any email or they minimum communication which is disgraceful even when I send my jacket for rewoxing once a year they keep me updated and emailed me from the boutique where I have pourchesed it 3 years ago with a smile in all my question. I managed to call the shop today and maybe the lady was having a bad day, but she was over stressed and quiet rude in tone when she was answering me. She started the call without even introducing herself I don't even know who I have spoke with, she meanged to say that I have been sent an email, which of course I haven't received and I kept checking all the spam and any email section today. No trace of that mail even on my bin which is full. So... 0 communication, and very poor customer service with their insurrence. Hopefully I will get my watch safe and repeared back cause all she managed to tell me was I had to wait couple of week more and let's see... Which I guess it's fine but very very poor comunication and very poor tone in saying that .

  Came by to this store to get my Certina watch refitted. And they did so completely free on the house and provided a free beverage. The staff were very helpful and welcoming through and through, as well as being extra careful with the watch as they removed the links. Definitely will be coming back and will be making my next purchase with them!
