  Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at TK Maxx. My wife visited the store to purchase some clothes and unfortunately had one of the worst and most unprofessional customer service experiences she has ever experienced. At the till, a staff member tried to refuse to sell her a two-piece Nike shorts and T-shirt set. The impression given was that the staff member realised the set had been priced very cheaply and wanted to keep it for herself. After my wife refused to hand the item back, the staff member eventually processed the purchase. However, the security tag was deliberately left on the item, causing the alarm to go off when my wife attempted to leave the store. Security then took the item back to the till, where the staff member spoke with the security guard. The situation then escalated, with both staff members siding against my wife and insisting that she take a refund. My wife was already running late to collect our child from nursery and was treated extremely rudely throughout the whole situation. She asked both staff members for their names, but they refused to provide them and had covered their name badges. This is completely unacceptable behaviour from staff. Customers should not be made to feel intimidated, embarrassed or treated unfairly because a member of staff believes an item has been priced too cheaply and wants to keep it. I would strongly recommend that TK Maxx management hire professional staff members. This is not the level of customer service I would expect from a major retailer. Date: 10/08/26 Time: 17:34

  Disgusting customer service in this store! Also no awareness or training for staff regarding special needs customers,very loud music and staff that gives attitude and cannot be bothered… one of the worst TK Maxx out there

  It's my local shop, always shopping here if I’m looking for new branded stuff for my home. Today I had exceptional experience, Gloria was so helpful, she stayed overtime, helping me packing my big big shopping plus wrapping each plate to make sure it arrives safely. Thank you so much.

  A simple request when you ask for VAT break down receipt upon your check out ! And you are told that the store can’t provide VAT receipt although your items are subject to VAT and you paid this amount of VAT and you should claim it back since your are UK registered VAT company used your business card to pay some items and you argue with the store manager IFFY who insisted not to provide VAT break down receipt and saying you can stay here until the morning to argue ! I had to call the head quarter of TK max to ask for VAT invoice , and to all merchants or business customers do not use TK max at any branch because you won’t get VAT break down receipt as they used to do before specially in South Ruislip branch .

  Long queues to pay ALWAYS and never enough people at the tills. Poorly managed.
