Always hit and miss with what you get but I suppose that is the beauty of it. Do get some bargains in there.

Terribly rude staff. Russian older woman upstairs so aggressive like she owns the shop and customers get on her nerves. Runs around throws items like she's drunk. Not helpful but rude. Same on the till, whispering to her colleague when I asked for a roller as my husbands black clothing is full of synthetic hair from Dkny pillows which shed so much fluff. He looked like out of chicken coup and we had whole day ahead. Horrible staff.

Me and my mum both shopped here 20 odd years we love it but unfortunately it’s become full of rude staff. The small lady from a different country as she had an accent . She was so rude she shouted at us told us to put it back in the box ! It was already out and open like a majority of stuff there. She wasn’t professional she thinks she owns tkmax the next week we went and she did it to some young lady it was disgraceful I hope she don’t do it to me again ……I’m autistic and next time she does it I’m going to shout back

A massive TK Maxx! This one seemed a little more overstimulating than other TK Maxxes, but I think its a little darker maybe/enclosed so felt a little more chaotic. Managed to get what we needed though

I had a very disappointing experience at TK Maxx Romford today. I was returning one item and buying another, but the whole transaction took around 48 minutes. I have been shopping at this store for many years and have never experienced anything like this before. The cashier, who was a blonde lady the third cash on the left of side, she served me at around 12:15 pm. When I politely asked why the process was taking so long, she responded rudely, saying it was because I was returning an item. She did not apologise or explain the delay. After waiting for such a long time, I told her to leave the purchase because I no longer wanted the item. She then told me that if I spoke to her like that, she would not serve me. I repeatedly said that I needed to leave, but she replied that she needed to take her time. My children were with me and kept asking if we could leave, which made the situation even more stressful. This was the worst shopping experience I have ever had at TK Maxx. I was shocked by the poor customer service and the rude attitude. I hope the store looks into this matter so that other customers do not have a similar experience.
