I received excellent customer service from Emmanuel J. I was particularly impressed by his brand and product knowledge, as well as his genuine enthusiasm for his work. The rest of the team were equally friendly and welcoming, taking the time to speak with me and making me feel like a valued customer. This was my first visit to the boutique, and it was an excellent experience. I look forward to returning.
Shyam was amazing from start to finish! We went in looking to buy a watch and luckily he had exactly the one we wanted for our wedding. His customer service was brilliant and he made the whole experience really easy and enjoyable. The Westfield Stratford branch could definitely learn a thing or two from him! I’ll definitely be coming back here for my next watch.

I recently had an experience at Watches of Switzerland — 13th August — that left me humiliated, and I think other prospective customers, especially young people new to the hobby, deserve to know about it before they walk through that door.
For my birthday, someone I love gave me a watch. Nothing extravagant, worth under £100, but it sparked something — I started watching videos on Rolex, Omega, and the rest of the watch world, and for the first time felt like I had a genuine hobby forming. Eventually I built up the courage to visit a boutique in person, ask questions, and learn from people who actually knew the subject. After some research, Watches of Switzerland came up as one of the best collections in London, with a reputation for excellent, friendly staff. That reputation clearly doesn't extend to everyone.
I was nervous walking up to the door — that unplaceable feeling of not belonging was already sitting in my stomach. It turned out to be right. A security guard opened the door only to block my way in, and loudly demanded to know how old I was, repeating the question more aggressively each time until I answered out of pure discomfort (22). Then came a rapid string of questions, all at volume, all in front of other customers: are you going to buy a watch, can you afford to buy a watch. I was so overwhelmed and humiliated I nearly turned around and left.
A young woman working at the front of the store stepped in, told the guard to let me in, and kindly pointed me toward where to start looking. I'm grateful to her — she was the one person who treated me like I belonged there. But the damage was already done. I walked in feeling publicly humiliated, stayed for maybe twenty seconds, and walked straight back out, ashamed that I'd let myself hope a luxury store would welcome someone new to this hobby instead of interrogating him at the door.
I went in wanting to learn. I left feeling like I'd been told, loudly and in public, that I didn't belong.
A very positive experience at WOS. Firstly the greeting we received at the front desk, unfortunately I cannot remember the ladies name, refreshments were offered and the lady really took the time to understand the purpose of our visit. We was assigned to Shyam who was more than helpful, never once did he seem dismissive. We later returned with my partner to try a watch for size and exchanged details.
Regardless of we get offered a watch a very very positive customer journey.
Dear Manager of WoS Regent Street,
I recently purchased a piece during my recent visit to WoS Regent Street (5th August 2026), and I would like to provide a strong recommendation for my very positive experience here—and specifically to also commend Elizabeth who made this experience all the more special.
Everyone here was very attentive to me and made me feel welcomed. I arrived early in advance of my appointment with Elizabeth, and was already approached by two separate SAs to check if I had been already attended to (which does not always happen with other Rolex ADs). I feel that this is a small gesture that goes a long way.
My wife and I are also very grateful to Elizabeth for this allocation! We registered our interest for this piece since 2 years ago, and it is really quite a dream come true. We have actually said 'no' to Elizabeth a couple of times before, but she was always very understanding and patient with our requests. She is also very knowledgeable, and is straightforward with us about timelines and expectations—which we deeply appreciated. During my recent visit, she also took time to go through my wish-list items and to chat about watches in general despite the fact that it was very close to closing time. That again made my whole experience feel considered rather than transactional.
All in all, I am thankful to everyone here at WoS Regent Street (10/10 experience), and in particular to Elizabeth—she is really a wonderful person!
Sincerely,
Sitong and Kexuan
