  Absolutely shocking behaviour. I believe I was served by Abiba, team leader. Obnoxiously chewing gum at the till and was uninterested in serving us. When we asked questions about a bag, she rolled her eyes at us! My wife politely expressed Abiba's behaviour was rude and you're rolling your eyes at us, that it's not nice, Abiba raised her voice at us "HOW AM I RUDE?! How?!" logged off and said "I'm not serving you anymore!" and stormed off. I asked for her name and head office number, she just ignored us and continued to storm off. 10/10 for Lenny on handling the situation well and calmy. Need more people like him in the business.

  I am disappointed with the customer service I received at TK Maxx Gallions Reach. I approached a member of staff named Teuta, who was on the shop floor wearing her staff equipment, and politely asked whether she worked there. She replied, “Yes, but I’m on break.” While I understand staff are entitled to breaks, I found the response dismissive and unhelpful. What disappointed me most was that no effort was made to assist me further, such as directing me to another colleague who could help. As a customer, I would expect a member of staff to at least point me towards someone available, rather than simply ending the conversation. Fortunately, I later spoke with a manager named Michelle, who was professional, apologetic, and handled the situation appropriately. I hope TK Maxx can remind staff that even when on break, a basic level of courtesy and customer guidance goes a long way in maintaining a positive shopping experience.

  Rating: 1/5 — Poor customer service throughout Visited the Gallions Reach store today and spent around £140 on a watch and two bags. The products were fine. The staff were not. At the watch counter, the assistant was visibly reluctant to help and acted as though serving a customer was beneath her. The counter was unattended for most of the time I was browsing and I had to track down colleagues elsewhere on the floor to ask someone to come over. More than once. I looked at only 4 watches before deciding and felt unwelcome throughout. The checkout was no better. After I paid, the cashier left my handbags on the counter without a word. When I asked for a carrier bag she responded with "it's 50p" in a dismissive tone, as if I'd asked for something unreasonable, then told me I should have mentioned it earlier. When I pointed out that staff are supposed to ask, she shrugged and said most customers don't need one. A two second courtesy, skipped entirely. £140 spent and not once did either member of staff make me feel like a welcome customer. TK Maxx Gallions Reach has a great range but if the attitude on the shop floor doesn't improve, it won't matter. Management needs to have a serious word.

  Was helped yesterday by a lovely lady at around 7:30pm. I did not catch her name but she was very helpful and helped me find my size.
