  Creepy security staff The other day I want out for shopping Without any suspicious thing they just follow you which is unprofessional and uncomfortable for the customer, guys do better just secure the entrance

  My sister was going on holiday, so I offered to do her a favour by returning some items she had ordered online from TK Maxx. When I got to the till, I handed the cashier the items along with the paperwork for the refund. She told me that one of the items needed to have either the original price tag or the plastic bag it came in. Unfortunately, I didn’t have either, but the item clearly matched the description on the return paperwork. From that point on, the cashier’s attitude completely changed. I explained that I was returning the items on behalf of my sister and that there wasn’t anything I could do about the missing tag. She seemed completely uninterested, started rolling her eyes, pulling faces, and acting as though I was a huge inconvenience. I quickly called my sister to ask her to send the email confirmation. While I was on the phone, the cashier suddenly muttered that it was actually fine and that she didn’t need the price tag after all, but she said it in an annoyed, under-her-breath manner. I understand that customer service can be stressful, but there is no excuse for treating customers like they’re a burden. Rolling your eyes, making rude facial expressions, and showing obvious irritation is unprofessional. The cashier then offered a gift card instead of refunding the original payment method, which was fine, but I needed to check with my sister first. Rather than helping me for another moment while I confirmed this, I was moved aside so other customers could be served. In the end, I agreed to the refund on a gift card because I didn’t have my sister’s bank card with me. Throughout the entire interaction, I remained polite and did nothing to provoke this behaviour. I simply came in to process a straightforward return on someone else’s behalf. The cashier’s attitude was completely unnecessary and left me with a very negative impression of the store. Very disappointing customer service.
