I bought literally four small bars of soap, and in return, I was handed a massive 60x40x15 cm carrier bag. I’m pretty sure I could comfortably pack three full suits, a pair of boots, and a small folding chair inside this thing. The best part? You actually have to pay for these absolute monstrosities. I paid for four tiny soaps and ended up walking out with a portable studio apartment. Next time I decide to move houses, I’ll skip hiring a removal van and just buy two carrier bags from TK Maxx. Please, start sizing your bags based on customer purchases, not the scale of your global ambitions!

Anyone who shops at TK Maxx knows it’s an adventure. There are incredible brands and amazing prices, but you have to take your time and really search for those hidden gems. Today I spent over four hours in the store and, despite how tiring it can be, it was absolutely worth it. It always is. What makes this branch so special isn’t just the products. It’s the people. Maryam was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, patient and genuinely happy to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she made the whole shopping experience even more enjoyable. Farah was equally lovely each past time I came. She was warm, welcoming and attentive, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the customers she helps. I also have to say a huge thank you to Jay. Every single time I come in and leave with far too many shopping bags, he’s there to help me. I can’t carry heavy things, and without me even asking, he waits with me while I find a taxi, carries all of my shopping to the cab and makes sure I get in safely before heading back inside. That kindness means more than he’ll probably ever know. Jay is honestly one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to this store. I always have a choice of where I shop, and I choose to support businesses where people treat others with genuine kindness and respect. Every single member of the team at this branch has always made me feel welcome, and that is something I never take for granted. I’ve visited quite a few TK Maxx stores over the years, and the team at High Street Kensington is, without a doubt, the best. Thank you, Maryam, Farah and Jay. You are a real credit to TK Maxx, and I hope you know how much your kindness is appreciated.
