- EHEdward Hackett4 days ago1.0TK Maxx's return policy clearly states that you can return an item to any store. However, when I tried to return a jacket at this branch, the line manager of the person serving me intervened and stopped her from processing the return. He told me they would not accept the return because they don't stock that particular item of clothing at the Putney branch, and said I needed to go to a branch in Clapham, Wandsworth or Hammersmith instead. This appears to be directly at odds with the company's published returns policy. I was surprised that a member of staff in a position of seniority either wasn't aware of company policy or was unwilling to follow it. Either way, he was completely unapologetic about refusing the return. Looking at the reviews here, it seems that other customers have also experienced difficulties returning items at this store. TK Maxx clearly needs to look into this and address the problem. Until it does, I'll think twice about shopping at TK Maxx in future, as I can no longer be confident that I'll be able to return an item conveniently at my local branch.
