  Extremely disappointing customer service from Roger Vivier I am extremely disappointed with the way Roger Vivier has handled an issue with my Trompette shoes, which I originally purchased in March/April 2024 as my wedding shoes. I absolutely loved these shoes and have worn them numerous times since my wedding. Despite being in excellent condition, they developed a very loud and embarrassing squeaking noise when walking, which ultimately made them impossible for me to wear. I also own another pair of Roger Vivier shoes that have had considerably more wear and have never experienced this problem. After contacting Customer Service and providing photographs and a video demonstrating the issue, I was advised that the shoes had an irrepairable fault and was specifically asked to return them for a replacement. I therefore returned the shoes on 4 August, and Roger Vivier confirmed they had received them. I was subsequently told that rather than providing a replacement, I would receive a refund of the £690 I originally paid and would need to purchase the shoes again myself. The problem is that the exact same shoes now retail for £770. This means I am being asked to pay an additional £80 for a replacement for a pair of shoes that Roger Vivier itself has identified as having an irreparable fault. I do not believe I should be financially disadvantaged because of a product fault that was not caused by me. What makes this even more upsetting is that these were my wedding shoes, so they have significant sentimental value to me. I bought them from Roger Vivier expecting the level of quality and customer service associated with a luxury brand. The matter has now been ongoing for weeks, and I have found the whole experience incredibly frustrating. Although I have been offered a voucher towards express delivery, this does not address the fundamental issue or the additional £80 I am being expected to pay. I am very disappointed that Roger Vivier has chosen to handle the situation this way. It is not the resolution I would expect from a luxury brand, and unfortunately it has seriously damaged my confidence in Roger Vivier and my willingness to purchase from them again. I would have expected Roger Vivier to honour the replacement they originally asked me to return the shoes for, rather than refunding me and leaving me to pay more for the replacement.

  I visited the store in search of wedding shoes, and I must say, all the items were stunning, as expected. The standout, however, was the store associate Kai, who impressed me greatly with their kindness and professionalism. The store boasts an extensive array of styles and colors, which could be overwhelming for those not well-acquainted with the brand. Yet, Kai swiftly understood my preferences and efficiently brought forth suitable shoe options. Despite not reaching a decision due to my undecided wedding dress, Kai stood out as one of the best associates I've encountered in luxury goods shopping!
