  My father and I purchased a Dior suit for my sister’s wedding. The initial appointment was excellent — the service was attentive and professional, the suit was carefully pinned, and we left feeling confident that the alterations would be handled properly. We specifically explained that my father does not live in the UK and had a very limited window for fittings. We arranged the alteration schedule around his availability, including a second fitting when he returned to London approximately a month later. A few days before the second fitting, I contacted the gentleman assisting us several times and received no response. I eventually had to call the store and work with another salesperson, who was not aware of the situation and initially struggled to locate the suit. When the alteration paperwork was finally found, we discovered that the suit had not been altered at all. Due to an apparent error, the purchase date had been entered a month in the future, meaning the alteration and fitting had also been scheduled for the future. The suit had therefore been sitting in the warehouse for an entire month without anyone noticing. We were then offered an express overnight alteration service. We declined because we did not want a suit for a wedding rushed through tailoring at the last minute. Instead, we were left to collect the suit without the essential second fitting and with no opportunity to properly assess the alterations. When my father finally tried the suit on on the day of the wedding, we were genuinely shocked. The fit was considerably worse than before the alterations. Neither shoulder seam sat correctly, the stitching was visibly crooked, and there were obvious folds and uneven areas throughout the back of the jacket, as shown in the attached photographs. There was nothing we could do at that point my father had to wear the suit to my sister’s wedding as it was. What makes this particularly disappointing is that this is Dior, and the suit was purchased specifically for such an important occasion. The initial service gave us every reason to trust that the alterations would be carried out to the expected standard, yet a basic scheduling error, lack of communication and ultimately very poor tailoring resulted in a suit that looked worse after being altered. This is simply not the level of service or craftsmanship I would expect from a luxury house such as Dior, especially when purchasing a suit for a wedding.

  This review is based solely on my experience with Javier, who demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout our interaction. To say I had grown disheartened with the service at Dior Harrods would be an understatement. The overall experience there has been consistently disappointing, with staff often making customers feel like an inconvenience and directing us from one department to another — or, in our case, to multiple stores across London for one item. This was particularly frustrating given that we do not reside locally, making the lack of consideration even more apparent. However, Javier completely restored our confidence in the brand. He listened carefully to my concerns, offered thoughtful recommendations, and showed genuine passion for both Dior and fashion as a whole. His ability to understand my style and suggest pieces I would truly appreciate was impressive. Thanks to his guidance, I purchased the perfect twilly for my bag!

  Been here 12:15 till 13 o’clock on Tuesday August 25th. Two people on the floor. Both doing make up for customers that’s taking an entire time that I’m there. I ask for help of finding a product I want, I am told “I’m busy”. I wait. I walk over to the cashier area, there are 6 people there. I ask for help. One comes out and tells me they are having a meeting with a manager. I tell them to tell the manager they need people on the floor selling items. This is third time I come to Dior cosmetics at Harrods in past few months trying to purchase a specific product and leave because no one can help me locate it.

  Staff have a bad attitude. They ignore you when you are there to make a purchase. Interesting how they treat different customers. Not a pleasant experience.
