  had a really lovely experience at Charles Tyrwhitt in Westfield,Stratford. Esca was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional, and provided excellent customer service throughout my visit. Thank you, Esca, for such wonderful service, it was genuinely appreciated. I’ll definitely be happy to visit again👍🏼

  I had a very positive experience at Charles Tyrwhitt. The staff were attentive and helpful from the outset, particularly when it came to identifying my correct shirt size and allowing me to try different fits so I could decide which suited me best. Once my preferred size and fit had been established, I was directed to the clearly organised shirt section, which made browsing and selecting additional items very straightforward. There was also a great promotion running at the time, offering a discounted rate when purchasing four shirts and/or polos, so I treated myself to two shirts and two polos. One thing that particularly stood out to me was the management of the store. Although the manager was busy with their own responsibilities, they remained aware of customers waiting for assistance and made sure staff were directed accordingly. Customers were acknowledged, kept informed and reassured that someone would be with them shortly. Great service, a well-organised store and, most importantly, some very good leadership on display.

  I would like to make a complaint about the way my recent issue was handled. The problem is not with the store itself or the fact that there are policies in place. I understand that policies have to be followed. My concern is the way the situation was handled and, in particular, the customer service I received when I contacted you for help. I ordered a shirt online for my partner because ordering online is often more reliable, especially when something is needed for a specific occasion. The order showed that it had been received by the store and therefore my partner went to collect it. However, when they arrived at the Stratford store, they were told that the parcel was not there and no useful information could be provided. As my partner was busy, I contacted customer service myself to try to understand what had happened and find out what could be done. I understand that there may be limitations because the order was not in my name, but instead of trying to help me understand the situation or provide reassurance, I felt that the response was quite unhelpful and lacking in empathy. This situation has been very stressful, particularly because the item was ordered for a specific reason and we relied on the online ordering system. I was not expecting the customer service representative to break any policy. I was simply expecting a more understanding and helpful approach, and for someone to explain the situation properly and tell me what options were available. Customer service is especially important when something has gone wrong. Even when a policy means that you cannot directly resolve an issue, the way you communicate with a customer can make a huge difference. Unfortunately, I did not feel that I received the level of customer service I should have. I would therefore appreciate it if this complaint could be reviewed, particularly regarding how my call was handled and the lack of support or empathy I received. I would also like clarification on what has happened to the parcel and what can be done to resolve the situation. I hope this can be taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve the customer service experience for others in similar situations.

  To echo another reviewer - I too was served by Elo today. Really polite and helpful. Seems like a genuine nice person too. Had an error on the receipt and she sorted me with another shirt.

  Staff blatantly tried to overcharge me for a shirt. I came into the shop after finding a shirt on their website. I showed it to a member of staff, who asked me how much I had seen it listed for online (presumably to check whether I was aware of their prices). I showed her that the website price was £29.95. However, when I later went to pay, she put £69.95 into the card machine. When I pointed out that the shirt was listed for £29.95 online, she reluctantly said, “Fine, I’ll change it,” and charged me £29.95 instead. Other than this, the staff seemed uninterested, although they were reasonably efficient at finding the right size for me. The attempted overcharge, however, was very disappointing.
