I popped into the Sloane St. store 20 minutes before closing this evening to have my Serpenti diamond ring cleaned. In the U.S. this is done in a NY minute. The first sales woman was dismissive and said everyone was too busy. The 2nd saleswoman said they were dealing with a lot of customer requests and I would have to wait. As my dinner booking was in 30 minutes I was happy to wait. 5 minutes later said saleswoman said it would not be possible but could I come back tomorrow. I explained I had plans for the day but would try to rearrange my lunch and walking tour to accommodate their schedule. Will go buy Persil and clean with my toothbrush and not return. Amazed by the lack of customer service.
